Ideas for your Autumn Family Photography Session 2014
This seasons what to wear guide for a Autumn family photography session is about rich colours. Notice how there is subtle pattern and texture to the clothes but the colour is the key which makes the clothes complement each other.
For your Autumn family photography session, choose a key piece of clothing, this may well be Dad’s as they don’t have as much choice in the shops, then organise the rest of the participants around that, layer up to add interest and don’t be afraid of subtle patterns, they can work really well!
In this scheme I have even thought of the toys that the little girl would like to bring, this teddy bear in a play suitcase is perfect, not only do the colours work well but there are two toys in one and lots of play potential and interest for her, so I can capture lots of natural photographs of her.
This scheme is really very simple, the key points to remember are:
- Choose your colour scheme.
- Remember not all colours have to match exactly.
- Use tones that work well together.
- Choose 1 person who may be the most difficult to find/purchase clothes for.
- Purchase/organise the rest of the participants around this person.
We hope that this information and guide on what to wear for a family autumn photography session is useful to you in organising your own colour scheme for your session.
